Patches are not shiny like the current picture shows, that is due to the flash, these work with any brand of cover, green mesh. Mesh covers do fade over time, so it’s not likely going to match exactly, even if it was the exact same material as your cover that has been out in the elements. Everyone has been really happy with these patches. Mesh Safety Cover Repair Patches, by Pool Covers Direct, one of the largest distributors of safety covers in the US, can be used with any brand of mesh pool cover, including Loop Loc, Meyco, Merlin, Rayner, and others. These are professional grade patches without retail packaging for additional savings, available in various quantities and sizes. This is the same adhesive as what is used on the Loop Loc, and other brands of patches, but with big savings. Some of the other patches out there that even cost more, use a less expensive and less effective adhesive, but ours uses the best adhesive that costs 2 times as much. Patch should extend over damaged area by at least 2 inches on each side of damaged area, more for larger holes. The patch can be applied to one side of your cover or both sides for double strength. Special adhesive holds up to all weather conditions, easy to apply self adhesive patches. It is recommended that holes or rips bigger than 4 inches should be professionally repaired, especially if safety is a concern, but we have had customers patch much bigger areas successfully where safety was not a concern. These patches are custom made items, any minor imperfections will not effect the performance or look, but we keep imperfections to a minimum. Patch sizes may vary by +/- 1/8 of an inch from stated size, due to manufacturing. The Image showing the MeycoLite mesh under the other mesh is to show the color variation between the meshes, if you have the MeycoLite mesh for example and your cover is older, it is likely to be faded, so a patch that is a little bit ligher like our patch may be a better match, materials from all manufactures do vary from batch to batch, as they do with any material so it’s virtually impossible to get an exact match.
