This energy efficient above-ground pool pump has two speeds : low speed for everyday operation and high speed when you vacuum your pool or run other accessories. You toggle between the two speeds with a switch at the back of the pump. This 1 hp-115 volt Above Ground pump is very efficient, quiet, self priming and comes with a 6 Ft power cord. Its corrosion proof polymer construction will deliver years of reliable service. It is the same manufacturing quality construction, as Brand Name pumps, such as Hayward, Sta-Rite and Pentair. The suction and discharge ports are threaded for 1 1/2 fittings and provide excellent water flow. 2 – 1 1/2 inch pipe union fittings for easier pump removal are available. The transparent Twist-Lock lid and large comfortable handle allows for quick inspection of strainer which includes a large, easy to clean basket. The pump has a convenient drain plug for easy winter maintenance. Designed and manufactured to meet all CSA and ETL requirements. The motor is equipped with automatic thermal overload protection, which allows the pump shut off under abnormal overheating and auto-restart when the motor temperature goes down.
